The initial screen of the SQL Statement Design utility will depend on the contents of the SQL Statement box when you clicked Build SQL.
If you have already entered information in the SQL Statement box, the Wizard will attempt to pre-fill the SQL Statement Design screen with this information.
At this time, the SQL Statement Design utility cannot process an INSERT...SELECT statement from the SQL Statement box.
Note: If the information you entered in the SQL Statement box contains the "GROUP BY" clause, the SQL Statement Design screen may incorrectly pre-fill the Group By column in the grid. This is a known issue with the third-party components of the SQL Statement Design utility. |
If the SQL Statement box is empty or does not contain enough information to pre-fill the SQL Statement Design screen, you will be prompted to begin by selecting the tables accessed by the SQL statement.
