Performing Part Numbers tests

The Part Number test is used to associate a DMS standard with the inspection data.

The Part Number test displays one of these ways:

• A part number that has been preset for the inspection prefills in the Part Number field (Fig. 1). Mobile devices display somewhat differently than as shown on the PC inspection for this example, but the behavior is the same.

• The part number field is empty and a Select... button displays (Fig. 2). The inspector must manually select a part number from a list that displays.
