Wider scrollbars for PC Collect workstations

To use PC Collect with a touchscreen display, you may need to widen the scrollbars.

The following instructions will widen the scrollbars for all programs on a workstation.

An IT staff person with adequate knowledge and permissions to edit the Windows registry can perform the following steps:

1. Edit the Windows registry.

2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics.

3. Find the "ScrollWidth" entry and double-click to edit it. It is probably set to -255, which is the default.

4. Change the "ScrollWidth" entry to a value like 35, which is nearly double the normal value of 17. Then click OK to submit the change.

5. Close the Registry editor and reboot the workstation.
