If the first row of your text file contains only field names and no data, select the First row contains field names check box. The template will then skip the first row of the text file during data entry.
If your header information is contained in more than one row, you should select this check box. After finishing the creation of this template, you must use step 5 of the Template Wizard to modify the formula to accommodate additional rows of header information. See File Import Wizard - Additional Information for more information.
