Note: To enter defect data on the DMS Data Entry tab, you must use a mouse or other pointing device to click the DMS Data Entry tab and to click the Data Entry tab after entering your defect data.
You can use the following key combinations to run the program without using a mouse or other pointing device:
On all tabs:
To activate any button, menu option, tab or other command whose name contains an underlined letter or number, press ALT while pressing the underlined letter or number.
When any button, menu option, tab or other command is highlighted, press ENTER or the spacebar to activate the highlighted function.
To move the screen highlighter to another option on the screen, press TAB or SHIFT+TAB.
On the Data Entry tab, with the cursor in the data input box:
To accept input and move to the next input, press ENTER.
To go back to the last input, press SHIFT+ENTER. This is equivalent to using the Undo function.
To select all of the text in the data input box, press F3.
To copy a value, select the value and then press CTRL+C.
To paste a value you have copied, press CTRL+V.
To move the cursor to the end of the text in the data input box, press F2 or END.
To drop down the list of standards, traceability values, or corrective action values, press F4 or the DOWN ARROW key.
To enter or edit a note, press F7 or SHIFT+F2.
To halt input from an RS-232 device or a GagePort, press F8.
To reset a GagePort, press F9.
On the Data Table tab:
To select a row of data to edit or delete, press the UP ARROW, DOWN ARROW, PAGE UP or PAGE DOWN keys.
To access the right-click menu for the data table, press ENTER or SHIFT+F10.
