Entering the number of Nonconforming units

The method you use for entering the number of Nonconforming units depends on the way that your GainSeeker Administrator has configured DMS Data Entry and on the way that you collect data.

If one unit may exhibit more than one defect, you must count the number of Nonconforming (defective) units and enter that number in the Nonconforming units box.   Click here for an example:

After entering the number of Nonconforming units, you can proceed to Entering the Number good.

If the Nonconforming units box is visible but cannot be changed, your system has been configured such that only 1 defect should be entered for a single Nonconforming (defective) unit.  GainSeeker will automatically calculate the total number of Nonconforming units in the sample, based on the number of defects entered.

For this type of data entry, you do not need to enter the Nonconforming units, so you can proceed to Entering the Number good.
