There are two ways in which data may be grouped by default:
Sorting filters or Anchor points
Your GainSeeker Administrator can set a default option for Data grouped on control and CuSum charts.
If this option is turned on, the data will automatically be grouped by anchor points. If the data is retrieved with a filter which sorts the data by a traceability field, then the filter supercedes the anchor points and the resulting data will automatically be grouped and sorted by the traceability field.
Incomplete subgroups and varying subgroup sizes
Your GainSeeker Administrator can also set a default option to Add data grouping by subgroup size.
If this option is enabled, GainSeeker may automatically group data for Incomplete subgroups and Data entered with different subgroup sizes for one standard.
