Using the touch keyboard for data entry

On Windows 11, Windows 10 and Windows 8, you can use the Windows touch keyboard instead of a physical keyboard to enter data in PC Collect.

• To enable the touch keyboard on Windows 11: right-click the taskbar and then select Taskbar settings. For the Touch keyboard option, setting to Always or When no keyboard attached will display the keyboard icon on the taskbar.

• To enable the touch keyboard on Windows 10: right-click the taskbar and then check Show Touch Keyboard Button. This will display the keyboard icon on the taskbar.

• To enable the touch keyboard on Windows 8: right-click the taskbar, point to Toolbars, and then check Touch Keyboard. This will display the keyboard icon on the taskbar.

Touch this icon on the taskbar to display the keyboard.
