Dynamic Reports |
This parameter is used to tell GainSeeker only the type of export to execute. Each time you start this shortcut, the program exports the Dynamic report specified by the Open= and OpenType= parameters to the type of destination you specify. When you use ExportType=printer or filetype , GainSeeker creates the export file in your Windows TEMP path. If you have the Server Edition of GainSeeker, you can use the Export= parameter below to specify a file name and path for the export file. If you select Printer, you do not need to additionally use the Export= parameter. ExportType=Email does not tell GainSeeker to direct the email to a specific recipient. See the Export= parameter below for information about sending the item to a specific email recipient or HTML file. See ExportList= for information about sending the item to a saved file listing multiple email recipients.

Each time you start this shortcut, GainSeeker exports the dynamic report specified by the Open= and OpenType= parameters to the destination path and file name that you specify. The filename must include the file name that you want to create for the specified dynamic report. If you specify the filename with a recognized filename extension (.pdf, .htm, .doc, .jpg), then it is not necessary to use the ExportType= parameter above because GainSeeker uses the specified filename extension to automatically determine the type. If you include a file path in the filename, then GainSeeker will create the export file in the path you specify. Otherwise, GainSeeker creates the export file in your Windows TEMP path. If you use Export="filename" , GainSeeker exports the Dynamic report to a file you specify . If your export type is email, GainSeeker attaches a copy of a Dynamic report to an email. enter a valid email address for a single recipient after Export= . For example: Export="gainseeker@hertzler.com" (A valid email address must contain the "at" symbol (@) and quotation (") characters. It cannot contain any spaces.) For information about sending an email to multiple recipients, see ExportList= below |

To send the item specified in the Open= and OpenType= parameters as a pdf to multiple email recipients:
Example: The parameters for emailing an item to a list of email names saved in a file as in Figure 1 above, would read similar to this (the location of the file name in this example is "c:\Users\bob\areport\" and the file name is "email recipients list for PN61011.txt"): ExportType=Email ExportList="c:\Users\bob\areport\email recipients list for PN61011.txt" (This would send emails to John, Betty, and Joan using the above example.) Note: A valid email address must contain the "at" symbol (@) and quotation (") characters. It cannot contain any spaces. |
