This topic contains information about the legacy Import/Export Manager, which is being phased out from GainSeeker Suite. It is still available for use in version 8.3, but is being replaced by the new Import/Export Data function in the GainSeeker Utility module.
If there is duplicate data, the Import Export Manager will display the Select Duplicate Data Action screen. Duplicate data is data with the same part number and date/time.
You can abort the import at this point by clicking Cancel.
There are several options for handling duplicate data:

Skip record |
Skips a duplicate record. |

Increment record |
Adds a duplicate record and increments the date/time. |
|
Replace record |
Replace the record in the database with the duplicate record being imported. |

Skip all duplicates |
This is the same as Skip record, but for all records. |
|
Increment all duplicates |
This is the same as Increment record, but for all records. |
|
Replace all duplicates |
This is the same as Replace record, but for all records. |
You can select only one option. When you click OK, the import begins. This process may take a few minutes depending on the amount of data being imported.
