Selecting Short Run

Short Run allows you to analyze a process across multiple part numbers. For an explanation of Short Run analysis, see Short Run statistics.

To analyze Short Run data from Quick Chart Step 1, follow these steps:

Click Short Run to select the type of process to analyze.

Note: If the Short Run button is not available, then your system has not yet been configured for Short Run in the Administration module.

Click the Index list and select the Short Run index for the type of process you want to analyze. Then click OK.

Now the list of standards has been changed to a list of Short Run process specifications for the index you selected.

Highlight one or more process specifications that you want to analyze. For help with this task, including the Search, and Restrict features, see Finding and selecting standards.

After selecting process specifications, if you have already selected the types of charts and reports to create, you can:

Choose a different Analysis Mode
Click Next to set retrieval and statistical options on Quick Chart Step 2
Click Finish to draw the charts and reports without changing the retrieval and statistical options

You cannot finish drawing the chart until you have selected the types of charts and reports to create. For help doing this, see Selecting the charts and reports.
