After creating a chart, you may want to apply different basic or advanced retrieval options to your data. Select Options, Change Retrieval Settings from the Menu Bar or move your cursor onto the chart, right-click your mouse button, and highlight Change Retrieval Settings on the drop-down menu.
By using this customizing option, you can change things such as the Count, Date Range, Filter, or measurement system applied to the data on your current chart.
This command is not available for Multiple Data Tables or Combined Control Charts if you used the Chart Designer to retrieve multiple date ranges or multiple filters, or if you used Quick Chart or the Chart Wizard with analysis mode 2.
Note: If you open a desktop containing a Group Chart, a Multiple Chart window, a Process Capability chart, a Statistics Table, a Multiple Data Table, or a Report for multiple standards, do not change retrieval settings to view a different date range on any of these chart types. Doing so will update your desktop to use this new date range for this chart. If you want to view the data on your desktop by a different date range, first click the Desktop menu, click Save As, and save a copy of your desktop with a different name. Then click the Options menu and click Change Retrieval Settings to change the date period
