Building a Pareto Chart and Selecting 'Sort By'

The second part of Step 3 in the Pareto Chart Builder is selecting how you want to sort the bars on the Pareto chart using the Sort by tab. The default setting is Defect. Other options are sorting by Process, Part Number, Defect, Event or any of the 48 traceability fields.

The default setting of the Sort by tab is Defect.

Since the system manager establishes the categories during setup, yours will likely be different from those in this sample.
