Sometimes RS-232 devices generate errors when we interface to them. The errors do not affect program operation, but they are frequent and annoying. With this setting you can suppress errors that occur while communicating with a port.

0 – Do not report communication errors while running a template. Any error messages that occur will be written to MySVar "CommErrorMsg" instead of displaying a message to the user.

1- Report communication errors while running a template.

Errors opening both ports, closing ports, and similar will still be displayed. This only applies to errors that occur while communicating with a port.
