Running and editing Python scripts for Inspections

You can use the Inspection Editor to create, manage, and select a Python script for a Formula test.

Setting a Python Design to run with a Formula test

• To select a Python script for a Formula test, use the Properties grid to edit the PythonScript property.

• To edit the Python Script that has already been configured for a Formula test, you can double-click directly on the Formula test.

Both of these actions display the Python Script Editor.

Note about Python variables in sub-inspections

Note: Any Python variables created or modified in a script are retained for any future scripts run during the same inspection.
