The File menu options available in the Data Entry module will change according to the screen or tab you are viewing and the access rights granted to the User or Group Name you used to log in. These options may include:
Quick Start Data Entry
Closes the current data entry session and opens a new Quick Start data entry session.
This option functions exactly like the Quick Start button on the main Data Entry screen .
Open Template
Closes the current data entry session and allows you to select a template for data entry.
This option functions exactly like the Template button on the main Data Entry screen.
Open Planned Session
Closes the current data entry session and allows you to select a planned session for data entry.
This option functions exactly like the Planned Session button on the main Data Entry screen.
Open Stored Session
Closes the current data entry session and allows you to select a stored session for data entry.
This option functions exactly like the Stored Session button on the main Data Entry screen.
Timed Session
Allows you to set a timer to launch a particular template, planned session, or stored session at specified intervals. (In PDA mode , this feature is not available.) For more information, see Timed Session.
Close
Closes the current data entry session and returns you to the initial screen of the Data Entry module.
Save Stored Session
Allows you to save this data entry session in its current state, so that you can close the session without losing your work in progress. For more information, see Understanding templates, planned sessions, and stored sessions .
Send To
This exports the contents of the current tab or chart window to the destination that you specify. For more information, see Send To options from the File menu.
Login
Allows you to log in as a different User or Group Name without exiting the Data Entry module.
Logout
Logs you out of the Data Entry module and then displays the Login screen.
Without exiting the Data Entry module, this forces the next user on the workstation to log in with their own User or Group Name and password.
Change Configuration
Change to a different GainSeeker configuration but keep the permissions (role) of the current user or group name.
Note: Features that allow one GainSeeker module to launch another GainSeeker module will use only the configuration that is associated with the login name. This includes using the SPC Data Entry module to run a data entry session that uses the DMS Data Entry tab or the CHT_DASH , CHT_SPC or CHT_DMS commands |
Change Password
Allows you to change the login password for the User or Group Name you selected when you logged in to the Data Entry module.
Exit
Completely exits the Data Entry module.
