The File menu in the SPC Designer module contains the following options:
New
Uses the Template Wizard to create a new, blank template.
Duplicate
Uses the Template Wizard to create a new copy of the selected template.
Edit
Uses the Template Wizard to open the selected template for viewing and editing.
Import
Imports the template file (filename.dev) that you specify. For more information, see Exporting and Importing templates.
Export
Exports the selected item in the Templates list. For more information, see Exporting and Importing templates.
File Import Wizard
New
Uses the File Import Wizard to create a new, blank template.
Duplicate
Allows you to create a new copy of any template originally created by the File Import Wizard.
Edit
Allows you to view or modify any template originally created by the File Import Wizard.
Database Integration Wizard
New
Uses the Database Integration Wizard to create a new, blank template.
Duplicate
Allows you to create a new copy of any template originally created by the Database Integration Wizard.
Edit
Allows you to view or modify any template originally created by the Database Integration Wizard.
Displays the contents of the selected template as a document in your editor program.
For the selected template, this attaches the template file (filename.dev) to an email that you can address and modify before sending.
Each time you e-mail a template, GainSeeker will now automatically add or update a portion of the note that explains how each traceability field is labeled. This portion of the note will always begin with the text "Trace Labels Exported:" and end with "Export Date (date)".
Delete
Deletes the selected template.
Delete Range
Allows you to select multiple templates for deletion.
Login
Allows you to log in as a different User or Group Name without exiting the SPC Designer module.
Change Configuration
Change to a different GainSeeker configuration but keep the permissions (role) of the current user or group name.
Change Password
Allows you to change the login password for the User or Group Name you selected when you logged in to the SPC Designer module.
Exit
Completely exits the SPC Designer module.
