Viewing Instructions

Templates – and the planned sessions and stored sessions created from those templates – can be created to include one or more tabs for operator instructions.  Instructions are not available for Quick Start data entry.

If the template , planned session or stored session you are running contains one or more tabs for instructions, you can view those instructions by clicking the appropriate tab. In PDA mode , click the Tabs menu and then select the appropriate option.

The tab names can be modified in the template design, but the default names for operator instruction tabs include:

• Instructions
  
  If you plan to save this data entry session as a stored session, you may add further notes or instructions to be saved with the stored session.  Click in the Stored Session box, and then type your additional instructions.  When you are ready to save the data entry session as a stored session, click the File menu, and then click Save Stored Session .
  
  You cannot change the planned session or template instructions from this screen.  For information on setting instructions at these levels, see Planner: Step 1 and Template Wizard Step 6 .

  You must click Play on this tab to start the video.

• Audio
  
  You must click Play on this tab to start the audio playback.

To return to the data entry screen, click the Data Entry tab.  Or, to enter defect data, click the DMS Data Entry tab (if available).
