If you want to change any of the data attached to a value, you can do so by clicking on the Edit Data button in the "Edit [SPC/DMS] Notes" dialog. Be careful when granting editing rights for this option. This powerful editing option allows you to change the data in your database.
You can change any of the traceability fields by clicking on the down arrows and selecting alternative options from the drop-down lists or by typing new information into the data boxes. You also can change data points and the date/time stamp.
Click on Save to save any changes you have made to the data. This Save function works independently from the Save Changes option on the "Edit [SPC/DMS] Notes" dialog. Any changes made in the "Edit Data" dialog are permanent changes to the data in your database.
