Automatically selecting the statistics report format

When prompted to select the statistics report format for a Statistics List or a Statistics Table, you can configure your workstation to automatically select the statistics report format each time you generate a statistics list or a statistics table:

  1. Select a statistics report format from the list.

  2. Select the Save as default statistics report check box, as shown below.

  3. Click OK.

After configuring your workstation to automatically select the statistics report format, you can still view other statistics:

  1. Generate a statistics list or statistics table.

  2. Right-click on the statistics list or table, or click the Options menu. Then select Change Report Format from the menu.

  3. Select a different statistics report format, and then click OK.

You can also undo the default setting so that SPC will prompt you to select the statistics report format each time:

  1. Generate a statistics list or statistics table.

  2. Right-click on the statistics list or table, or click the Options menu. Then select Change Report Format from the menu.

  3. Clear the Save as default statistics report check box, and then click OK.
