Changing the dashboard design

If you are already viewing the dashboard:

Right-click on the dashboard and choose Design Dashboard from the right-click menu. Alternately, you may click the Options menu and then click Design Dashboard.

If the dashboard is not yet open:

  1. On the Start screen, click Open Dashboard.



    If the Start screen is not displayed, click the File menu and choose Open Dashboard.

  2. Select an existing dashboard to edit.

    To reduce the number of dashboards listed, click the desired option in the Show dashboards for area.

Note: If the dashboard is locked and you do not have the right to edit locked items, then you cannot change the design of the dashboard. However, you can still copy a locked dashboard or use the Save Dashboard As menu option to create a new copy of the dashboard which is not locked. To see which dashboards are already locked, click the Show locked button. This will create a list of locked dashboards and display this list in your editor.

  1. Click Edit.
