There are three ways to export data to MINITAB. Your best option will depend on whether MINITAB is installed on your workstation and which version of MINITAB is installed.
This option allows you to specify which columns contain data, send specification limits and subgroup sizes from the standard, and have MINITAB automatically execute commands on the data. It is only available if MINITAB version 14 Corporate Edition or MINITAB version 15 - 17 is installed on your workstation. This option runs somewhat slower than the others listed here.
This option creates a tab-delimited text file of the information appearing in your GainSeeker table, and then the program launches MINITAB with commands to automatically open the text file. You can also create MINITAB macros that will be launched each time you send a table to MINITAB. This option works well if MINITAB version 12 or later is installed on your workstation, and it is somewhat faster than sending information to MINITAB via COM.
This option creates a tab-delimited text file of the information appearing in your GainSeeker table, which you can open at a later time in MINITAB. This option works well if MINITAB is not installed on your workstation, because you can transfer the resulting file to another workstation where MINITAB is installed.
