The following guidelines apply for all regional options when designing, testing and running data entry templates:
When using the SPC Designer module to design templates, certain conventions must be followed for numbers, date/time stamps, and command separators in formulas. For details, see Numbers, dates, and separators.
When running the template in the SPC Data Entry module, all inputs, outputs and displays are automatically formatted according to your regional options. For details, see Data Entry inputs and Data Entry outputs and display.
When designing a template to read data from an RS-232 device, from a file, or from any other source that requires parsing of the text buffer, special considerations apply. For details, see Finding values in the text buffer.
SQL statements generated for a template will use commas as necessary for the syntax of the statement. For details, see SQL statements.
