There are several ways to copy an existing Dynamic Report. After making a copy of the report, you can change the Retrieval Settings and/or the Design of the new report to meet your needs.

From the SPC Reports, DMS Reports, Advanced Reports or Mixed Reports tab on the Dynamic Reports screen, right-click the report you want to copy and then click Save Report As. Alternately, you may highlight the report you want to copy, click the File menu, and then click Save Report As. Enter a name for the new report, and then click OK.
From the Report Retrieval Settings screen, click the File menu and then click Save Report As. Enter a name for the new report, and then click OK.
From the Report Designer screen, click the File menu and then click Save Report As. Enter a name for the new report, and then click OK.
From the View Report screen, click the File menu and then click Save Report As. Enter a name for the new report, and then click OK.
Right-click the existing report on the SPC Reports or DMS Reports tab on the Dynamic Reports screen and then click Copy to Advanced Report. Alternately, you may highlight the report you want to copy, click the File menu, and then click Copy to Advanced Report.
Note: Some retrieval settings from SPC and DMS reports will not be automatically translated into the SQL query. These include:

From the SPC Reports, DMS Reports or Advanced Reports tab on the Dynamic Reports screen, right-click the existing report and then click Copy to Mixed Report. Alternately, you may highlight the report you want to copy, click the File menu, and then click Copy to Mixed Report.
Note: After copying one of these report types to a Mixed report, it is best practice to view the new Mixed report and make sure that it opens correctly – it should look identical to the report that it was copied from – before you begin making changes to this new report. |
