Changing Fonts and Colors on Tables and Lists

When a table or list is displayed on your screen, you can change the colors, fonts, and tab stops used for the table or list. (In PDA mode , this feature is not available.)

To change these settings, right-click on the table or list and then click Fonts and Colors. Alternately, choose Fonts and Colors from the Options menu. On the Monitor windows in the SPC Database Monitor module, this option is only available from the Options menu. The following window will appear:

When this window first appears, the current type of list or table is selected in the Apply fonts and colors to list.

You can use this window to change settings for the current list or table only, for the current list and all future lists and tables generated from this workstation, or for the current list and all future lists and tables generated from other workstations.

When making changes for future lists and tables generated at this workstation and/or other workstations, you can set up each type of list or table with the fonts, colors and tab stops that you prefer. If you view or modify settings for several types of tables or lists and want to return to the type of list or table that is active on your screen, you can let your mouse hover over the Apply fonts and colors to list and a ToolTip message will appear, indicating the active item.

Note: The fonts, colors and tab stops you select on this window will apply only to what you see on the screen; they will not affect printouts of the lists and tables. When you click the printer button or send the contents of a table or list to an editor such as WordPad, only unformatted text is sent to the editor. You can then use the editor to format the text as you want before printing.

If you want to return a list or table to all font, color and tab stop settings originally shipped with the software, select that list or table from the Apply fonts and colors to list, and then click Defaults.
