Note: If you do not want the GS Collect app to be automatically updated on your device, you can turn off automatic updates for the app:
- On iOS devices: Turn off automatic updates in the Settings app.
- On Android devices: Turn off automatic updates in the Google Play Store app.
Version 1.0.230 updates
This version requires you to update your Mobile Web Service to version 8.6 or later.
- GS Collect now runs in the background, so your progress is saved when switching between apps.
- Fixed issue where barcoded traceability values were not being cleared properly.
- Fixed issue where non-English characters could not be used in inspection names.
- Fixed camera issues for iOS 12 and above.

- Startup error message modified to distinguish between no internet connection and not being able to connect to the URL.

Version 1.0.16 updates
- The ForceNote sub-inspection property now applies to SPC real-time checks using Numeric Input tests.
- A cancel button has been added to the traceability selection screen.
- The allowable maximum number of saved Unique IDs per-user is increased to 2,000.
- If a Date/Time test is not used in an inspection, data is submitted using the date and time of when the Submit button is pressed.
- When the orientation was changed on the mobile device camera, the application ceased to properly function. This issue is resolved.
- (Android only) An issue with saving Inspections that contained single quotes is resolved.
Version 1.0.15 updates
- A traceability search makes it easier to narrow the list of values. Just begin typing characters contained in the value you want. Only values that match the search string display.
- Added the ability to disable the sample size and nonconforming unit entries when entering defects.
- Pass/Fail tests now store the defect name.
Version 1.0.14 updates
- General bug fixes, including auto-advancing the user when a note is submitted.
- TextAlign property implemented for text controls.
- Pass/Fail test stores the label—not the defect name—as a Traceability value.
- Images can be accessed from locations in addition to the User Documents 2 folder (Requires GainSeeker version 8.4 and GainSeeker Web Service version 8.4).
